The ASICS Gel-Court Hunter is a versatile indoor court trainer / shoe with Rearfoot GEL Cushioning for comfort with the Trusstic System for support.
Open Mesh Upper
Built with open mesh uppers these shoes will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow; creating a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Synthetic overlays surround the midfoot and heel to provide lateral support and lockdown; they help to anchor you to the midsole and reduce in-shoe slippage for smooth, distraction-free strides. PGuard, a reinforced rubber/resin compound, covers the toes; implemented to increase the Gel-Hunter's durability and defend your feet against toe drag.
EVA Midsole
A removable sockliner resides underfoot to supply an extra layer of optional, step-in comfort, plus an EVA midsole means resilient cushioning and a sturdy platform to hit from. Light in weight and low in profile, it spares your joints as you smash, drive, leap and land on hard, unforgiving court surfaces. Embedded in the midsole platform, and complimenting its responsive nature, is the rearfoot GEL Cushioning System. It also works to reduce shock during the impact phase, allowing movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.
Non-Marking Outsole
A Trusstic System has been introduced to reduce the weight of the sole unit and link the forefoot and rearfoot; the plastic shank sits under the arch and increases the torsional rigidity of the shoe. Perfect for those sharp, sideways movements, it reduces the risk of injury and supports you in every zealous game. A non-marking rubber outsole completes the Gel-Hunter court shoes, supplying a sticky, multi-directional grip across indoor courts.
